Goji berries are relatively new to the scene, but they are a superfood that have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries to aid in kidney and liver problems. Their anti-inflammatory properties can help improve circulation.
Packed with many vitamins and antioxidants, goji berries can help your body fight insomnia, get a good night’s sleep, and boost your immune system. These little berries can help fight everything from arthritis to the common cold or flu. Their high levels of Vitamin A can help give you healthier skin and clear up acne, too!
Why These Ingredients
The frozen bananas will chill the smoothie to the perfect serving temperature while thickening it and making it more velvety. The creamy mixture of the honey and bananas can be a good remedy to soothe a sore throat or hinder a cough while packing you with nutrients and vitamins to improve your immune system. The added cinnamon is a great way to spice things up and add some extra flavor so that this is anything but basic.
Ingredients (2 Servings)
