Edible Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
Late one night, Hubby and I decided we wanted peanut butter cookies. I didn’t feel like dealing with refrigeration, shaping, and all that other work that comes with cookies. So I took the lazy route and I made some dough instead. What’s better, I use banana in place of butter (you can sub the same quantity if you don’t have any banana on hand), so it’s like a peanut butter and banana… something! Maybe not really cookie dough like my other recipe (and definitely not as photogenic), but it’s delicious nonetheless!
3/4 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 cup Sugar (use less if you have very ripe bananas)
1/4 cup Brown sugar
1/2 tsp Molasses
1/4 cup Peanut butter
1/4 cup Mashed banana
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 tbsp Milk
1/2 cup Mix-ins (chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, etc.)
A pinch of Salt
Combine everything in a small to medium bowl, and enjoy! If you want to be extra safe, heat your flour either in the oven or the microwave until it reaches 160 degrees F.
