Hot Apple ToddyPosted in : alcohol, apple, brandy, drink, easy, hot drinks, Uncategorized on by : Jeanette Rueb
On a hot winter’s day, what better way to warm up than with a hot apple toddy? Here’s an easy, quick recipe to warm you up on a cold winter’s eve:
1/2 an orange
3 cups apple cider
2 cinnamon sticks
Brandy to taste
Slice the orange half and stud it with the cloves.
Set two burners to low heat. In a small saucepan, heat up the apple cider. In another saucepan, heat up the brandy and the clove-studded oranges. Add the brandy to the cider mix, to taste. Add the cinnamon sticks and continue heating for a little longer.
Serve hot with the cinnamon sticks in the cups, and enjoy responsibly!
