Green bean casseroles don’t just have to be for the holidays! They’re a great, flavorful way to change up the dinner vegetables, and they’re super easy! Combining the crunch of green beans with the salty, savoriness of fried onions, and bringing it all together with a creamy base, while these may not be the healthiest vegetable side, they sure do hit the spot!

Ingredients
2 lbs Fresh green beans
10.5 oz Condensed cream of celery soup
1/3 cup Milk
8 oz French fried onions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Snip the ends off the green beans and snap them in half. Rinse the prepped beans in a colander while you bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Once the water’s boiling, toss in the beans and blanch them for about 3 minutes before straining them out in the colander and rinsing them with cold water. In a bowl, mix the beans, soup, and milk together before pouring them into a deep casserole dish. Cover the dish with foil and stick it in the oven for 20-25 minutes, taking it out with 5 minutes left to add the onions on top. Serve warm and enjoy!
